The most successful shows on TV always revolve around female drama. But I’m here to tell you that this isn’t real life, it just makes for good television. All of the Miss Teens have been friendly and excited to share a special experience with others. It is comforting to know you are traveling to a location to make 75 new friends. At the end of the day, all of the girls are special and have outstanding qualities. It is always a hard decision to crown Miss Teenage Canada because our country has a lot to offer. The girls from past years have been supportive of each other, from make up application to missing their families. For a lot of these girls they have never been away from their families, so this is a time for them to be mature and independent. It’s wonderful to see them bonding over this experience. I love this show because every year I watch the girls grow in experience; because of that, I keep improving on the experience and trying to offer more each year. The 2011 search is on its way. The National Finalists have been picked and the contestants share my excitement for the big day.
