A new Miss Teen Saskatchewan-World has been crowned! I crowned Ailey Korneychuk as Miss Teen Saskatchewan-World 2010 last night in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the Delta Bessborough Hotel! It was a wonderful evening full of young leaders taking the stage. Nine fantastic girls were crowned and all of them will move on to compete for the title of Miss Teen Canada-World 2010 in Toronto this summer! I am so excited to see all of the girls from each province again. I will also be meeting many new young ladies since I am unable to attend the Eastern Province Preliminaries due to my Kenya Me to We trip. So to those who are competing for a title and I can't make it to your province, GOOD LUCK and I wish you the best!!
So a little more info on the Saskatchewan pageant… The opening number song was Tik Tok by Ke$ha and the whole crowd cheering and dancing about halfway through! The opening number was a success and the excitement didn't stop there. Each and every girl who went on stage looked stunning in her evening gown. The crowd was left in awe and I think every young lady truly felt like a princess. Once we got to the end of the show, it was time to announce girls who were to move on to the national competition. Since I am Miss Teen Saskatchewan-World 2009, I got to crown Miss Teen Saskatchewan-World 2010! I was thrilled because I haven't crowned a girl yet! The next lady I will crown will be the new Miss Teen Canada-World 2010! Woohoo, I am so excited! Anyways, congratulations to every girl who competed in Miss Teen Saskatchewan-World 2010! You are all beautiful and have so much to offer to the world, so keep striving to reach your goals and never give up! Anything is possible!
