In order to become Miss Teenage Canada you must excel at certain categories, such as: swimwear, fitness, talent, fundraising, marketing and promotion, and community service.
In addition to the Miss Teenage Canada title, there are optional sponsored categories that may be awarded to the finalists. Each area is judged and selected based on the delegates’ ability to be the best of the best in a certain category:
Swimwear/Fitness: Best swimsuit presentation and swimsuit body.
Photogenic Appeal:This award will be chosen by your headshot in the program book/web site
Talent Award: The best talent performance.
Congeniality Award: Based on delegate votes for each other in the areas of the best overall representation of pageantry and camaraderie.
Supermodel with Style: Best overall runway and stage presence throughout the competition.
Official MTC-W INC. Fundraising award: Most money raised for our charity of choice, Free the Children.
Community Service:Awarded to the contestant with the strongest commitment to giving back to her community.
People’s Choice Award:Given to the delegate with the most votes online before the competition.
Scholastic Award: An academic achievement award for the girl with the best written essay.
